A. J. Mitchell is an attorney focused on representing personal
injury and business clients.
Mr. Mitchell majored in finance, minored in economics, and took on a position as
a business law teaching assistant. He graduated with high honors from the University
of Florida earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in finance. Mr. Mitchell
then earned a two-year academic scholarship to California Western School of Law
in San Diego, California. By placing as a finalist in trial competitions, he earned
a place on the trial team.
Additionally, Mr. Mitchell continually provides over fifty hours of free legal services
to the economically challenged.
Mr. Mitchell finished law school in two and a half years. Mr. Mitchell has represented
businesses, consumers, and individuals in business transactions, litigation, estate
planning, and personal injury. He co-chairs the Mentor Committee as well as the
Modest Means Project, is a member of the Young Lawyers Division, the Maricopa County
Bar Association, and is licensed to practice law in California as well as Arizona.
He has had tremendous success in defending businesses in litigation. Mr. Mitchell
has obtained not only entire dismissals of claims he was defending, but also won
attorney's fees in favor of his clients on those claims. When prosecuting business
cases, he has won cases of over $1,000,000, including a punitive damage claim for
$2.200,000.00.
Mr. Mitchell has had excellent success in auto accident, premises liability, dog
bite, vehicle pedestrian accidents, and many other personal injury cases. He has
obtained settlements of $1,300,000.00, and multiple substantial settlements and

operates and supervises the firm, while simultaneously litigating cases. He has
